Baseball Recap: Basic Wolves vs. Cypress Centurions
Basic is ranked highly in their home state and on Tuesday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Cypress. The Wolves fell just short of the Centurions by a score of 2-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Wolves' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
Noah Sebastian was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. That's the fewest earned runs he has allowed since March 6th.
