York faced Perry in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Golden Knights walked away with a 3-1 win over the Yellowjackets. That's more bragging rights for the Golden Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

York's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Perry, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. York will head out to face off against Keshequa at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Perry, they will take on Churchville-Chili at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. The Yellowjackets are facing the Saints at the right time seeing as the Saints are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
