Football Game Preview: Pine Tree Pirates vs. Lumberton Raiders + How To Watch

The Pine Tree Pirates will face off against the Lumberton Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Pine Tree took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. Everything went their way against Palestine as they made off with a 43-21 victory. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won three matchups by 22 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Lumberton waltzed into their game on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They took down the Bears 49-30. The Raiders pushed the score to 42-16 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bears cut but never quite recovered from.

Lumberton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Madden Dean and Mason Cline.

Pine Tree's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Lumberton, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
