Basketball Recap: Harbor Creek Huskies vs. McDowell Trojans
The Harbor Creek Huskies lost against the McDowell Trojans back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Harbor Creek had to suffer through a rough 61-31 loss at the hands of the Trojans. Harbor Creek has struggled against the Trojans recently, as their contest on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Harbor Creek lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Braylen Wilson, who scored eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cam Herman, who scored seven points.
Harbor Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for McDowell, they pushed their record up to 13-3 with that win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Harbor Creek will square off against the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meadville has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 396 points over their last six matches. As for McDowell, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the at 11:00 a.m. on February 3rd. Grand River Academy will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line.
