Softball Recap: Keystone Heights Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Keystone Heights and Trinity Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Keystone Heights had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Celtics by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Indians have suffered since February 27th.

Keystone Heights saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amberlea Wagner, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Keystone Heights has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season. As for Trinity Catholic, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-8.

Keystone Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Trinity Catholic, they will face off against Melbourne Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hustlers will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something the Celtics surely won't give up without a fight.
