Kingston is 8-2 against Middletown since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Tigers will challenge the Middie Bears at 1:00 p.m. Kingston's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three contests, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Kingston fell victim to Pine Bush and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bushmen.

Meanwhile, Middletown also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Monroe-Woodbury by a score of 7-2.

Middletown saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabriella Diaz, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Kingston's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Middletown, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Kingston came out on top in a nail-biter against Middletown in their previous meeting back in April, sneaking past 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
