Volleyball Recap: Pace Extends Winning Streak to Ten

Pace waltzed into their contest on Saturday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They blew past the Navarre Raiders 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Pace not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Navarre between 16 and 19 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16, 25-19.

Marley Manning paced Pace's offense, picking up 13 kills. Manning got some help from Kiera Beckham and her 19 assists. Manning was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Pace's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Navarre, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Coincidentally, Pace and Navarre will both be playing Destin the next time they take the court. The Raiders will host the Sharks at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Patriots will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
