Basketball Recap: Garrett's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Garrett had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They managed a 46-41 win over the Angola Hornets on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Railroaders sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Garrett's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carter Coffman, who posted 14 points and five rebounds. Kohen Smith was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Angola lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Niles Knox, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 14 boards. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Ryan Stuckey, who put up ten points and eight boards.

Garrett's victory bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Angola, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-8.

Looking ahead, Garrett will square off against Leo at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Garrett is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.2 points per game this season. Angola does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
