The Wapakoneta Redskins will square off against the Allen East Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Wapakoneta is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.

On Thursday, Wapakoneta needed a bit of extra time to put away Fort Recovery. They won by a run and slipped past the Indians 10-9. The Redskins haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Grant Jolly was incredible, getting on base in four of his six plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Jarrett Mullen was another key player, going 3-for-6 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

Meanwhile, while Allen East put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Fairfield. The Mustangs walked away with a 4-0 win over the Lions.

Allen East pushed their record up to 11-8-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Wapakoneta, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3.
