Volleyball Recap: St. Mary's Springs Finds Home Court Redemption Against Winnebago Lutheran Academy

There's no place like home for St. Mary's Springs, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against the Winnebago Lutheran Academy Vikings by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Ledgers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

St. Mary's Springs had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-19, 25-19, 25-19.

Rylee Gilgenbach paced St. Mary's Springs' offense, picking up 17 kills. Gilgenbach got some help from Ally Vercauteren and her 36 assists.
