Basketball Recap: Douglas Takes a Loss

Douglas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Sweet Home Huskies and fell 60-21. The Trojans lost against the Huskies in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 28-25 score last time.

Douglas' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Sweet Home, they moved to 1-3 with that win, which also ended their 19-game losing streak.

While Douglas had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
