It was a good run, but Inman unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to the Moundridge Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on September 6th.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Moundridge scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20.

Morgan Froese paced Inman's offense, picking up five kills. Froese were helped by Maddison Parsons and Taylor Froese, who contributed seven assists each. Taylor was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Inman's defeat dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Moundridge, they pushed their record up to 22-2 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wildcats beat Inman by a score of 2-1 later that day.
