Volleyball Game Preview: Stark Generals vs. Keene Blackbirds

The Stark Generals will take on the Keene Blackbirds at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Stark is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Mascenic Regional, who was ranked 13th at the time (Stark was ranked ninth). The Generals fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 3-2 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Keene was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pinkerton.

Keene's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Stark, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
