Volleyball Recap: Alhambra Takes a Loss

Alhambra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the San Gabriel Matadors, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Matadors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Alhambra's record is now 1-15. As for San Gabriel, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-13 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Alhambra will take on rival Mark Keppel at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, San Gabriel is set to square off against their familiar foe Montebello at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
