It's playoff time, and Mission had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Galileo Lions on Monday, sneaking past 6-5. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Mission's victory bumped their record up to 8-20. As for Galileo, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 17-4 record.

Coming up, Mission will square off against Lowell at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Bears surely won't give up without a fight. Galileo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
