Recap: Klahowya Eagles vs. Cascade Christian Cougars

After flying high against the Crosspoint Warriors last Saturday, the Klahowya Eagles came back down to earth. Klahowya was beaten by Cascade Christian 64-33 on Wednesday. Klahowya lost against Cascade Christian in their previous head to head back in January of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 53-45 score last time.

When it comes to explaining why Klahowya lost, one person who can't be blamed is Eli Kraft. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. The match was Kraft's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Langguth, who scored six points along with three steals.

Klahowya's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Cascade Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Klahowya will take on Vashon Island at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Vashon Island has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Cascade Christian, they will be playing at home against Charles Wright at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Charles Wright knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Cascade Christian likes a good challenge.
