Soccer Game Preview: Hialeah vs. Sunset

The Hialeah Thoroughbreds will head out on the road to square off against the Sunset Knights at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Thursday, Hialeah didn't have quite enough to beat North Miami and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Sunset's offense. They came up short against South Miami on Friday, falling 8-0. That's two games in a row now that Sunset have lost by exactly eight goals.

Hialeah's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Sunset, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Hialeah beat Sunset by a goal when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 2-1. Will the Thoroughbreds repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
