Northwood Temple Academy's win came from a few key players Fayetteville Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kyleigh Ramos, who posted 18 points and five steals. She has become a key player for Northwood Temple Academy: the team is 2-1 when she posts at least three steals, but 2-7 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Treasure Whitted, who had 13 points.

Northwood Temple Academy's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8. As for Fayetteville Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.

Fayetteville Christian took their victory against Northwood Temple Academy in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 37-15. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fayetteville Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
