Softball Recap: Alanson Takes a Loss

Alanson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Brimley Bays, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 22-13 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2022.

Alanson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Brimley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Coming up, Alanson will be playing in front of their home fans against Harbor Light Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Brimley, they will venture away from home to square off against Sault Area at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
