Volleyball Recap: Cedar Hill Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Cedar Hill was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Lancaster on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Longhorns lost 3-0 to the DeSoto Eagles on Tuesday. The Longhorns were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Cedar Hill was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made DeSoto work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 27-25, 25-16.

Cedar Hill has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. As for DeSoto, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cedar Hill will square off against rival Duncanville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, DeSoto is set to take on their familiar foe Lancaster at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
