Softball Recap: Lincoln Academy Takes a Loss

Lincoln Academy lost against Camden Hills back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles lost 16-1 to the Windjammers. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

L Pinkham was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases and one run. Pinkham is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season.

Lincoln Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Camden Hills, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3.

Coming up, Lincoln Academy will venture away from home to challenge Morse at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles are facing the Shipbuilders at the right time seeing as the Shipbuilders are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Camden Hills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Belfast at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Windjammers surely won't give up without a fight.
