Basketball Recap: Oshkosh North Takes a Loss

Oshkosh North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Appleton East Patriots, falling 65-24. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 258th, while the Patriots are ranked 88th).

Oshkosh North's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Appleton East, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-6.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Neenah the next time they take the court. Appleton East will host Neenah at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Oshkosh North will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th.
