Football Game Preview: Thunder Ridge Titans vs. Rigby Trojans

Thunder Ridge is 0-7 against Rigby since October of 2018 but things could change on Friday. The Titans will take on the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Thunder Ridge has given up an average of 30 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Thunder Ridge lost to Blackfoot at home by a 33-14 margin.

Meanwhile, Rigby faced Hillcrest in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Trojans walked away with a 35-22 win over the Knights. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Thunder Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Rigby, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.

Thunder Ridge took a serious blow against Rigby in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 56-24. Can the Titans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
