Galena Park put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Austin Mustangs get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. Considering the Yellowjackets have won 14 games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Daniel Gomez looked comfortable as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up a single earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Cesar Amador was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Hector Arrieta, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and one double.

Galena Park always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matchups.

Galena Park pushed their record up to 21-0 with the victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Austin, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.

Galena Park will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Mustangs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
