Basketball Recap: Bellmont Braves vs. Huntington North Vikings

Bellmont was the 62-50 winner over Huntington North when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bellmont Braves took a 59-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huntington North Vikings on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Braves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 367th, while the Vikings are ranked 167th).

Ethan Zahn continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Huntington North, going 5 of 12 on his way to 22 points in addition to seven assists and five boards. The contest was Zahn's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Bowman, who went 5 for 7 en route to 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
