Softball Recap: Wahkiakum Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last six contests, Wahkiakum finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They came up short against the Ocosta Wildcats, falling 11-1. The Mules have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Wahkiakum now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Ocosta, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wahkiakum will challenge Naselle at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ocosta, they will square off against Wishkah Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
