Basketball Recap: Camanche Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cascade, Camanche was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 57-44 victory over the Bellevue Comets. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Indians considering their 22-point performance the matchup before.

Camanche's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Bellevue, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Camanche and Bellevue could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Iowa Rankings. Camanche (ranked 231st) will meet Monticello (ranked 100th) at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Bellevue will square off against Maquoketa at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 177 places (198 vs. 21).
