Volleyball Recap: Pomona Panthers vs. Golden Demons
Pomona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Demons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19.
Pomona now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Golden, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.
Pomona will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Evergreen at 6:30 p.m. on October 2nd. Pomona is facing Evergreen at the right time seeing as Evergreen is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Golden, they are on the road again on Saturday to play Conifer at 3:00 p.m.
