Basketball Game Preview: Westhill Warriors vs. Glens Falls Black Bears

The Westhill Warriors will challenge the Glens Falls Black Bears at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Westhill is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They blew past Franklin Academy 74-40. The Warriors are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 14 straight.

Meanwhile, Glens Falls put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Beekmantown 100-51. Given the Black Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 21st, while the Eagles are ranked 255th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Westhill's win bumped their record up to 23-2. As for Glens Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 24-0.

Westhill couldn't quite get it done against Glens Falls in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 as they fell 78-70. Can Westhill avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
