Basketball Recap: Charleston Wins Going Away Against Festus

The Charleston Bluejays made easy work of the Festus Tigers on Friday and carried off a 79-59 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bluejays.

Treshaun Schandon had an outrageously good game as he shot 5-for-8 from downtown and dropped a double-double with 25 points and 12 boards. What's more, he also posted a 67% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in January. Trenez Lane was another key player, going 7-for-13 to rack up 18 points and three steals.

Charleston now has a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Charleston will take on Dexter in a tournament on Tuesday. As for Festus, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Windsor at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th.
