Denton is 0-9-1 against Grapevine since March of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Broncos will host the Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. Both teams beat their previous opponents by a single goal, so this matchup might be just as contested.

Having struggled with eight defeats in a row, Denton turned things around against Richland on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Royals, sneaking past 2-1.

Meanwhile, Grapevine hasn't lost a match since January 17th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. They never let Argyle get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. The victory was all the more spectacular given Grapevine's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 65th, while Argyle are ranked 19th).

Grapevine's win bumped their record up to 10-4-5. As for Denton, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 3-10.
