Recap: Havre de Grace vs. Patterson Mill
The Havre de Grace Warriors won the last time they faced Patterson Mill, and things went their way on Tuesday, too. The Warriors escaped with a win against Patterson Mill by the margin of a single basket, 51-49. Despite the victory, that's the fewest points Havre de Grace has scored all season.
The contest started off well for Havre de Grace, whose offense put up 32 first-half points. Patterson Mill wasn't quite able to keep up, and the score was 32-23 heading into the break. Havre de Grace almost let the game get away from them in the second half, but they had just enough oomph to take it.
The win -- their 12th in a row -- raised the Warriors' record to 17-2. The defeat dropped Patterson Mill's record to 6-12.
The Warriors will square off against C. Milton Wright on Friday. Havre de Grace won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings. As for Patterson Mill, they will face off against Edgewood on Friday.
