Volleyball Recap: Denver Christian Extends Winning Streak to Three

Vail Christian typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Denver Christian proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Saints by a score of 3-1. The win was nothing new for the Thunder as they're now sitting on three straight.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 27-25, 21-25, 25-23.

Despite the loss, Vail Christian still got an impressive performance from Sam Bates, who had 17 digs and one assist. Bates is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Denver Christian's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Vail Christian, they moved to 13-3 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-match winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Denver Christian will face off against St. Mary's Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Vail Christian, they will square off against De Beque at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
