Columbiana waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Leetonia Bears 17-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 20-1 on Monday.
Caitlynn Pleska made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since April 1st.
In other batting news, Columbiana let Maryn Hepler and Ella Dota run wild.
