Volleyball Recap: Coventry Continues Road Dominance on Thursday

Coventry won the last time they faced Ravenna and things went their way on Thursday too. The Comets blew past the Ravens 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Coventry was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-8, 25-12.

Among those leading the charge was Mckenzie Osborne, who had nine digs and two assists. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October of 2024. Lacie Matheney also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Coventry was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ravenna didn't served any aces.

Coventry pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Ravenna, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Coventry wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Norton on the 16th. As for Ravenna, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Roosevelt on the 13th.
