Football Recap: Evergreen Takes a Loss

Evergreen entered their contest against Liberty Center on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Vikings took a blow against the Tigers, falling 57-7. Having soared to a lofty 41 points in the game before, the Vikings couldn't push the score so high this time.

Evergreen's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Liberty Center, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Evergreen and Liberty Center should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Vikings will challenge Swanton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (322 vs. 656). Meanwhile, Liberty Center (ranked 56th) will meet Delta (ranked 252nd) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
