Stamford took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Wilton, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Black Knights skirted past the Warriors 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Black Knights have posted since April 8th.

Stamford's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10. As for Wilton, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.

Coming up, Stamford will head out to challenge St. Joseph at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cadets will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Black Knights surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wilton, they will welcome Warde at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
