Basketball Recap: Leake Academy Takes a Loss

Leake Academy suffered their biggest loss since December 14, 2024 on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the Tupelo Golden Wave and fell 95-65. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Monday (62), the Rebels still had to take the loss.

Having lost for the first time this season, Leake Academy fell to 7-1. As for Tupelo, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Leake Academy will challenge Simpson Academy at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tupelo, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Pontotoc at 7:15 p.m. on December 5.
