There's no place like home for Muhlenberg, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Sunday. They had just enough and edged out the Conrad Weiser Scouts 6-5 on Monday. The Muhls haven't had any issues with the Scouts recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Ethan Weiler tossed a big game, striking out six batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Eli Keller was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since April 1st. Another player making a difference was Gavin Moody, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Muhlenberg's record is now 9-7. As for Conrad Weiser, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-16.

Looking ahead, Muhlenberg will square off against Exeter Township at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Muhls' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. As for Conrad Weiser, they will head out on the road to take on Fleetwood at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Scouts' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
