Softball Game Preview: Menasha Bluejays vs. West De Pere Phantoms

The Menasha Bluejays are taking a road trip to face off against the West De Pere Phantoms at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Menasha is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Menasha came into this matchup off a tough 13-run defeat on Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Shawano Community by a score of 5-3 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bluejays have suffered since May 21, 2024.

Meanwhile, West De Pere lost 7-1 to Ashwaubenon on Friday. The Phantoms have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Menasha's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-7. As for West De Pere, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
