They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 31-30 to the Warriors. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Cascade has scored all season.
Cascade's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brady Trebley, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Connor Sanders, who scored ten points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Covenant Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bryce Harris, who scored four points along with five rebounds and two steals. It was the first time this season that Harris grabbed two or more steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Paxton Bacon, who scored six points along with two steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Cascade and nudges their season record down to 11-12. As for Covenant Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 8-15.
Cascade does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Covenant Christian, they will face off against Park Tudor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Park Tudor has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 632 points over their last nine matches.
