Basketball Recap: Central of Clay County Falls Despite Big Games from Ramyah Billingsley and Zy?Keria Heflin

Central of Clay County suffered their biggest loss since December 3, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 53-31 to the Briarwood Christian Lions.

Central of Clay County's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Zy?Keria Heflin, who went 5 of 11 en route to 12 points and six boards, and Ramyah Billingsley, who went 5 for 11 on her way to 12 points and five rebounds. Billingsley is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 14 games she's played.

Briarwood Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emma Kerley led the charge by putting up 14 points and seven boards. Ann Tatum Baker was another key player, posting nine points in addition to five assists and four steals.
