Volleyball Recap: Grand County Comes Up Short

Grand County lost against San Juan back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Red Devils came up short against the Broncos, falling 3-0. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-15, 25-14.

San Juan had a senior duo take command as Averie Gilson had 11 digs and three aces and Keegan Palmer had 12 digs. Gilson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last ten games she's played.

Grand County's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for San Juan, the victory was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-2.

Grand County has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Montezuma-Cortez on the 15th. As for San Juan, they will head out to challenge Riverton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
