Recap: Orangewood Christian Rams vs. Forest Lake Academy Panthers
The Orangewood Christian Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Forest Lake Academy at home and fell 87-54. Orangewood Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-24.
Despite the loss, Orangewood Christian still got an impressive performance from Caleb Shrode, who scored 14 points. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Benson, who scored nine points.
Orangewood Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Forest Lake Academy, their win ended a eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-5.
Orangewood Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Central Florida Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 5th. As for Forest Lake Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against City of Life Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
