Basketball Recap: Richmond Comes Up Short

Richmond was the 51-46 winner over Croswell-Lexington when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Richmond Blue Devils took a 59-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Croswell-Lexington Pioneers. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Richmond now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Croswell-Lexington, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Richmond will take on Yale at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Yale will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Richmond surely won't give up without a fight. As for Croswell-Lexington, they are taking a road trip to face off against North Branch at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Croswell-Lexington knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully North Branch likes a good challenge.
