Soccer Game Preview: West Shore vs. Melbourne

West Shore is 2-8 against Melbourne since December of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Wildcats will face off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.

West Shore's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed two weeks ago. They blew past Space Coast 8-0. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for West Shore's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Melbourne). Everything went their way against Vero Beach on Monday as they made off with a 7-0 win. Melbourne have beaten Vero Beach the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Vero Beach has come to flipping the script.

The victory got West Shore back to even at 3-3. As for Melbourne, their win bumped their record up to 5-0-2.
