Basketball Game Preview: West Point Pointers vs. Gloucester Dukes + How To Watch

Having just played yesterday, the West Point Pointers will head out on the road to face off against the Gloucester Dukes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. West Point will be strutting in after a victory while Gloucester will be coming in after a defeat.

West Point hadn't beaten Mathews on the road since February 21, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Pointers came out on top against the Blue Devils by a score of 59-47. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pointers.

Meanwhile, Gloucester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-52 heartbreaker at the hands of Grafton.

West Point's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Gloucester, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.

West Point came up short against Gloucester when the teams last played back in February of 2025, falling 74-66. Can the Pointers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
