Volleyball Recap: Mooresville Comes Up Short

Mooresville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Greenwood Woodmen, falling 3-0. The Pioneers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Woodmen apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

While Mooresville was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-22, 25-20.

Mooresville's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Greenwood, their win ended a 14-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-7.

Coming up, Mooresville will venture away from home to square off against Terre Haute North Vigo at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greenwood, they will host Triton Central at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
