Calvary Christian Academy fought the good fight in their overtime  match against Heritage  on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took  a  43-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Heritage Hawks. The Knights' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
 Heritage was led to victory by  Loran Tate and  Bre Ploense.  Tate  posted eight points and six  steals, while  Ploense  had four  points and four  steals. Those six  steals gave  Tate a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Maegan Frye, who  earned 13 points along with seven  assists and five  boards.
Calvary Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Heritage, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record  this season.
 Calvary Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  52-22  victory against Judah Christian on the 13th.
