Sulligent is 8-2 against Red Bay since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Sulligent Blue Devils will host the Red Bay Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Red Bay took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Sulligent, who comes in off a win.

Sulligent took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Cordova by a score of 49-37.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 67 points the game before, Red Bay was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They were dealt a 67-20 loss at the hands of Belmont. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 210th in Alabama, while the Cardinals are ranked 24th in Mississippi).

Sulligent pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.8 points. As for Red Bay, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
